Admissions

The Governing Body of Gamston CofE (Aided) Primary School is the admissions authority for the school.

Applications must be made through your home local authority. For Nottinghamshire residents, the application form can be found on the NCC website:

www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/learning/schools/admissions

Applications must be submitted by the closing date for applications as stated in the Nottinghamshire co-ordinated scheme. The closing date for applications for a place in Reception in September 2021 is 15th  January 2021. The offer of a place will be made by the Local Authority to all parents on the offer day set out in the co-ordinated scheme.

The published admission number for 2021-22 is 15 children. All applications for the Reception year will be ranked in accordance with the admission criteria as set out in the Admissions Arrangements below. Attendance at our Early Years (nursery) setting does not guarantee a place in Reception. Any additional information about special circumstances or a Faith Reference Form must be emailed to the school office by 15th January 2021 (office@gamston.notts.sch.uk). Any applications received after 15th January 2021 will be added to the waiting list for places.
