Be the best you can be
We love reading in Hillary Class
It has been a pleasure to watch the children sharing books and stories with their friends. This time is so important and vital for the children's social skills, reading skills and also their communication and language too.
Reading diary comments
We hope you find this useful to support writing comments in your child's reading diary.
World Book Day
To celebrate World Book Day our children came dressed as their favourite story book characters. In Hillary class we shared stories, painted some amazing pictures of our favourite book characters and also had a tea party. We chose the book The Tiger Who came to Tea as our class story book. We made tea in our tuff tray and also we had a very special tea party for a rather important visitor... A Tiger!
Hillary class love to share a good book with a good friend. We love seeing our children engaged in an exciting story. Reading is such an important part of our learning environment. We ensure our children are immersed in high quality books.
For National Fairy Tale day, we loved reading fairy stories and describing our favourite characters.
