All applications for the Reception year will be ranked in accordance with the admission criteria as set out in the Admissions Arrangements below. Any additional information about special circumstances or a Supplementary Information Form must be emailed to the school office by 15th January 2024 (office@gamston.snmat.org.uk). Any applications received after 15th January 2024 will be added to the waiting list for places.

Right of Appeal

Under the terms of the School Admissions Appeals Code 2012, if you apply for and are refused a place at Gamston St Peter's CofE Primary School, you have the right to appeal.

Admission Appeals at SNMAT academies are managed by Nottinghamshire County Council Appeals Team, who provide an independent appeals process. Appeals at SNMAT academies will be heard by an Independent Appeals Panel in accordance with the School Admissions Code 2014, The School Admissions Appeals Code 2012 and Part 3 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998.

The school operates a Waiting List for its intake year group in partnership with Nottinghamshire LA. This is kept and prioritised following the oversubscription criteria until the end of the autumn term.
