A warm welcome to Gamston St Peter's CofE Primary School website. Here you will find lots of information about our school, our vision and aims, our welcoming ethos and our staff.

We wish to enable your child to be the best they can be, whatever their talents, and to develop their skills so they achieve beyond their expectations. We love our work, and we strive for every member of our school family to value learning; it is integral to all that we do.

At Gamston we place a high value on educating the whole child in all areas of the curriculum. We are a school community which works strongly together and we value children’s attainment and achievement; our values and ethos are underpinned by Gospel Values and we focus on opening doors through building knowledge and developing the skills required to learn well. 

We believe that every child is unique and it is our aim to provide a school experience that is rich with opportunities for our children to flourish academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. All members of our school family are encouraged to challenge their perceptions of what is achievable and to reflect on their achievements as they grow in understanding of their potential roles and responsibilities so that they can carry their light into the wider world.  

We place great emphasis upon the well-being and personal development of every child and we strive to harness their natural curiosity and to equip them with confidence and an excitement for learning. We want our children to know that they have the skills and attitudes needed to embrace all the rich possibilities of their future lives. Our children are change makers: we believe in listening to their voice and encouraging them to listen to others and to contribute to various aspects of school life through the School Council, Sports Leaders, Eco-Council and Worship Leaders.

As parents or carers you are partners in your child’s journey through these formative school years. We will work closely with you to ensure that the time your child spends with us gives them the very best foundations for their futures.
